We had a really good time at the Lake Mathews Kennel Club dog show this weekend. Our little girl, Chaulait’s Heart of the Matter, call name Mattie, took Winners Bitch on both Saturday and Sunday, earning her first points in the ring. GCH Crime of the Century, call name Diana, took Best of Breed on both Saturday and Sunday, and won a Group 3 in the Owner-Handler division on Saturday, and a Group 1 in the Owner-Handler division on Sunday.
Amore's One Enchanted Evening
Amore's One Enchanted Evening, call name Paisley, took BOB and a 5 point major as a 9-12 month puppy! Our most sincere thanks to our good friend Curtiss Smith and to judge Peggy Lloyd for having the courage to award this beautiful young bitch the BOB!
GCH Amore and Salswift's Collaboration
At the Palm Springs Dog Show, Amore` and Salswift's Collaboration, call name Abby, earned her coveted Grand Championship by going Select Bitch and getting a 5 point major! Congratulations to Abby and her owner/handler, Sally Smyth! Abby is currently being shown as a special and has since won several BOBs on her way to a Bronze Grand Championship!

The Ventura County Dog Fanciers Association, located in Ventura, Callifornia, was incorporated in 1935 and is the host for their Winterfest and their Summerfest dog shows.
The South Bay Kennel Club was founded in 1961 and is located in the southern portion of Los Angeles County. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in Purebred dogs and the sport of showing dogs.
