Great Weekend at Mission Circuit!

Wanted to update you all on our wonderful results from the four shows at the Mission Circuit (Pomona Fairgrounds). Here’s a day-by-day review:

Friday (Judge George Milutinovich) – Entered Gracie for BOB, Maestro for BOB, Luc in 6-9 Puppy and Spirit in BBE. Maestro was Select Dog for his 20th Grand point, Gracie received Select Bitch to finish her GCH (we thought – more on that later), Luc was Winner’s Dog, and Spirit received a 2nd in BBE.

Saturday (Judge Jason Hoke) – Maestro entered for BOB, Jewel entered in BBE and Spirit in BBE. Maestro was BOS again, and Jewel was WB. Spirit was 3rd in BBE.

Sunday (Judge Peter Green) – Maestro won BOB for his third Grand Champ Major, Jewel won BOS from the BBE class for a 3-pt major to finish her championship. Spirit was 3rd in BBE.

Monday (Judge Larry Abbott) – Maestro was BOS, Jewel received her first Select Bitch for a GCH point and Spirit was Winner’s Bitch.

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend with good friends and some nice wins. And a big surprise when Lorraine got home – in her mail was a big white envelope from the AKC containing Gracie’s Grand Champion certificate. We had all miscalculated her points and thought she still needed a single point which is why she was only entered one day at Mission Circuit. Guess we STILL can’t calculate those Grand points correctly!
